Our Mission
Life Line Homes exists to support children and youth in need by partnering with churches and Christian organizations to provide timely financial assistance that brings hope, opportunity, and lasting impact.
Our Story
A history of helping children succeed
Established in 1907, Life Line Homes initially served as a sanctuary for abandoned and at-risk children in Kansas City. For over seventy years, the ministry offered care, shelter, and hope through its orphanage, adoption services, and youth housing. Even after the residential facility closed in 1981, the mission persevered. Thanks to a permanent endowment fund created from the sale of the property and generous estate donations, Life Line now supports churches and nonprofit organizations that aid children and youth in need. More than a century later, Life Line Homes remains dedicated to helping young individuals find hope, healing, and the love of Christ.
